008 - Around the World, in a Carriage
One winter afternoon,
the Coachman, his thoughts once again drifting to his beloved Fairy,
decided to make a wish:
To travel Around the World with her.
He used the telephone
and asked her politely if she could drive him to the city,
for a task far from where he lived.
The Fairy,
responded to his request and told him:
- Get ready, I'm coming to pick you up.
The Coachman went out and waited for her outside his house.
The Fairy,
arrived very quickly in her beautiful Carriage.
The Coachman stepped inside,
and the first thing he admired was the Fairy.
Stunning as always,
she was wearing a beautiful winter dress.
Her alabaster legs
caught the Coachman’s eye,
and he immediately turned his face toward the road.
He thought to himself:
- If you start fantasizing now, in the heart of winter,
about the summer with those wonderful summer dresses,
how will you ever manage?
At once, he turned his face back to hers, looking at her.
He gazed intently into her eyes and the Light they emitted.
He confessed to her:
- Because of my work as a Coachman,
I am not used to sitting in the passenger seat.
But today, on this journey,
I am fully enjoying your company.
He had learned this from his little Fairy
a story she had told him about a journey
starring a Panda and a little Dragon.
In every meeting with his beloved Fairy,
the Coachman
collects the Spiritual Nourishment that flows from her lips.
Some of it
he places in the treasury of his Heart,
and some in the treasury of his Mind.
He literally adores her.
Again, he confessed:
- I don't want this Journey to end,
so that I may cherish your Companionship!
He felt as if he were traveling Around the World with her.
Even if the Carriage were to stop, he wanted to stay there with her.
That is where his Time finds meaning.
At some point, they reached a place
where the Coachman offered
to help the Fairy with a task she had.
Afterward, the Fairy bid him goodbye and departed.
A sense of Bittersweet Joy (Charmolypi) overcame him.
Joy, for the moments he shared with his beloved,
listening to her melodic Voice.
Sorrow, for the time she would be away from him
until they met again.
Suddenly, his Heart leaped at the ring of his phone
it was his beloved.
She called to ask if he wanted her to drive him closer
to where his work was.
All he wanted was to be with her,
and he was so gladdened by her call.
He felt her care,
and this rekindled his Heart and his Body!
Now, he walked through the frozen afternoon toward his
destination, without feeling the cold.
His wish had been fulfilled.
To travel Around the World with her!
