013 - The Return and the Reunion
The Coachman returned once more to his village,
after the great Journey,
far away from his homeland.
The following morning,
he decided to go to the city to tend to some matters.
Starting out, he passed before the Fairy’s magnificent palace,
gazing at it in wonder.
He intended to stop at the Palace upon his return,
for he had bought her a Gift.
The Fairy was outside her Palace, walking.
As he passed by, out of the corner of his eye,
he perceived a figure.
It was hers.
His gaze met hers.
It was pinned upon her Eyes!.
He did not expect it.
He did not expect her to be there, outside.
The moment she saw him, she stood still.
He immediately brought his horses to a halt,
turning back toward the courtyard.
His Heart almost broke from its own pounding.
Smiles were etched upon both their Faces.
The weather was overcast, yet her face was a radiant Sun!
All the clouds vanished from his eyes.
In that space, there was only Light, and his Fairy,
his Princess!
He did not dare descend from his carriage.
He had given her a promise: that he would be careful.
His legs were trembling....
She approached him,
their Gazes never parting for even a second.
He could bear it no longer.
All at once, he stepped down from his carriage.
The Fairy opened her arms to welcome him into her Embrace!
Their two bodies became one,
in a single hug.
Motionless, like a Statue.
Within her arms, he made Time stand still.
He wanted to stay there, Forever!.
He gave her a tender Kiss
on her left cheek.
Right above the side of her Heart!.
The scene became a Photograph,
imprinted forever within him.
He is now the wealthiest Man
to have ever existed in history!.
The moment gifted him an Eternal Memory,
one he will live Again and Again!.
He closed his eyes momentarily,
like the shutter of a camera.
Instantly, he placed it within the two treasuries he carries inside: One in his Mind, and one in his Heart!.
- My Soul, I have returned!
- Thank you for the Memory you gifted me!.
